Arrival at Lake Stockton, Missouri.
ALYS arrived at Grand Mariner Yacht Services around 10:30 am on the 1st of March.
It took about 1 1/2 hours to off load her, then another two hours for winterization.
It was very wet and cold this day, and that night the lake area got 5" of snow.

Moving to the yard for commissioning.
Start of recommissioning.
The first thing to be done by the yard was to re paint the bottom.
The paint used is Interlux's "Trilux". Several coats were applied to the whole hull, and 2 more at the water line.

The next major task for the yard was to set the mast. Usually the crane would be brought back in, but since ALYS's rig is small (and to save money) the small boat mast pole was used. As I was drafted into helping, not to many pictures were taken.

In the staging area for final out fitting.
Applying new name decal.
I contracted Signs & Designs, of Stockton Mo., to redo ALYS' name and port.
The yard removed the old name, and ? (owner of Signs & Designs) made and installed the decals.

Final views before "ALYS" hits the water.
While these are the last pictures of ALYS out of the water, they also show something that I have not mentioned yet. Reed Shaw, the owner of Grand Mariner, talked me into having the top sides Polycoated. Polycoating is a process of cleaning the top sides gel coat, then applying several coats of clear polyethylene. This has the same effect as clear coating the paint on your car, it makes it shine.
I'm very pleased with the outcome.
