Lake Jacomo
Located in Fleming Park, near Kansas City, it has 970 acres of water, a full-service, marina and sailing and boating classes. This
lake is the best sailing lake in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The fact that horsepower on any boat can't exceed 40, this
keeps all the motorboats away. Boats no longer than 30 feet in length or 10 feet in width may be operated on Jackson County
Lakes. Boat permits must be obtained from the Jackson County Department of Parks and Recreation. Jacomo Sailing Club and
Kansas City C-Scow Fleet are found at this lake. |
