Melvern Lake
Melvern Reservoir has 6,900 surface acres and 17,244 acres of adjacent land. Boaters on Melvern Lake will enjoy the large main body of the lake on calm days for water skiing. Sailboat enthusiast can find plenty of room to maneuver on the
ten miles of open water.
Melvern Lake has one marina, Melvern Lake Marina. It is located on the southeast side of the lake in Coeur d' Alene Park. It provides fuel, mooring facilities and other supplies necessary for boaters as well as campers.
Six Parks are conveniently located around Melvern Lake. The Corps manages five out of the six . They are: Outlet, Coeur d' Alene, Arrow Rock, Sun Dance, Turkey Point Parks. The State of Kansas manages Eisenhower State Park .
