Milford Lake
At 16,000 surface acres, Milford Lake is the state's largest body of water. Its central location and proximity to Junction City and Manhattan make it a favorite spot for outdoor recreationists.
Milford State Park rests in the middle of one the state's largest public areas -- an 18,000-acre wildlife area operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. and the park offers more than 1,000 acres with 138 electrical hookup campsites, 17 full-service campsites, 10 boat ramp lanes, and a marina. Boaters, campers, fishermen, and hunters all make use of the park and surrounding area, and the vast natural area and nature trails make Milford a great choice for the naturalist.
