Harlan Lake
A U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' project, Harlan County Lake is Nebraska's second largest lake. It is located in the south-central part of the state, seven miles from the Nebraska/Kansas state line. Considered the best walleye fishing in Nebraska, Harlan County Lake is about eight miles long and has 75 miles of shoreline.
The Corps maintains nine established campgrounds, with all of the project open to public access. There are two commercial marinas, North Shore Marina and Patterson Harbor, numerous bait and tackle shops.
Harlan Lake Yacht Club is located on Harlan Lake.
