Arkansas Lakes
Arkansas is known to have some of the clearest lakes in the midwest. Ouachita is the largest lake in the
state. Sailing does not seem to be a big past time in Arkansas. There are no Sailing Clubs or Assoc. that I
can find. However fishing and house-boating do play an important part in lake activities. Bull shoals and
Beaver Lakes do have marinas that have a few sailboats in the slips. I believe that if you are a trailer-sailor,
Arkansas is worth looking into. |
